Nuclear waste
Nuclear waste is the depleted nuclear fuel after being used for electricity production in a nuclear power plants in Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic.
Background
Nuclear waste, occasionally called used nuclear fuel, is nuclear fuel that has been irradiated in a nuclear reactor (usually at a nuclear power plant). It is no longer useful in sustaining a nuclear reaction in an ordinary thermal reactor and depending on its point along the nuclear fuel cycle, it may have considerably different isotopic constituents.[1] The term "fuel" is slightly confusing, as it implies a combustion of some type, which does not occur in a nuclear power plant. Nevertheless, this term is generally accepted.
Gameplay
Nuclear fuel is being delivered at the nuclear power plant and is being used in the process of electricity generation. After a while the nuclear fuel is depleted and must be exported to the customs house.
Production
Nuclear waste is produced in a nuclear power plant. Nuclear waste can only be exported to the customs house where the player has to pay to export the nuclear waste.
Storage
Nuclear waste can only be stored containers in a radiation protected storage, at the nuclear power plants building.
Transportation
They can be transported by using open-hull trucks, trains using open-hull cargo wagons, or by forklifts.
