The Pollution Monitoring Station is a building in Workers and Resources that is used to monitor Pollution and Radiation.
Background
A pollution monitoring station is a facility equipped with various instruments to measure air, water, soil, and other environmental parameters to assess pollution levels. These stations are strategically located in urban areas, industrial zones, and near sensitive ecosystems to gather data on pollutants such as particulate matter, ozone, nitrogen dioxide, and heavy metals. The data collected helps governments, environmental agencies, and researchers understand pollution trends, identify sources of contamination, and formulate effective mitigation strategies. Real-time monitoring enables timely interventions to protect public health and the environment, supporting efforts to achieve sustainable development goals and reduce adverse impacts of pollution.
Gameplay
Pollution can be viewed by hovering the cursor over the "View Actual Pollution" button. Greener shaded dots denote areas of low pollution, while redder shaded dots denote areas of higher pollution. The pollution monitoring station requires Power to view pollution.
Radiation can be viewed by clicking on the "Dozimeter" button and moving the cursor over any spot you want to check for radiation. The pollution monitoring does not require power to view radiation.
