Currencies
There are two kings of currencies:
- Gold is the more common currency, used for wage to peasants and trading. Can be obtained by trading.
- Holy Rings is the more rare currency, used in some actions between lords. Having too few can give a negative thought while having many can give a positive thought and a significant difference in rings can lead to jealousy. Can be purchased from the Holy Caravan.
Basic resources
Basic resources are obtained from resources buildings and do not require anything to produce beyond workers and instructions.
- Wood is used in construction, agriculture and the production of other resources. Obtained from Lumbermills.
- Iron is used in construction, and the production of other resources. Obtained from Mines.
- Rye is used in production of agricultural resources. Obtained from Rye Fields.
- Hops is used in production of alcohol resources. Obtained from Hop Fields.
- Herb is used in the production of other resources. Obtained from Herbalists.
Refined resources
Refined resources are produced from various other resources in certain buildings.
- Steel: used in the production of other resources. Refined from Coal and Iron in Melting Furnace.
- Medicinal Salve: used for healing wounds and diseases. Refined from Herb in Alchemist Lab. Lords take it for free from Warehouses while peasants must purchase it from a Market.
- Nectar: sold in a Den. For 36 hours after consumption the character will gain +30% productivity, movement speed and skills, have their Rest need fulfilled and gain a positive thought. However frequent consumption can cause addiction. Refined from Herb in Alchemist Lab.
- Tools: Used for upgrading or repairing buildings and producing other resources. Refined from Coal and Wood in Workshop.
- Paper: used for sending messengers, creating books and the operation of the Chancellery. Refined from Wood and Coal in Paper Workshop.
- Coal: Used in the production of other resources. Refined from Wood in Coal Furnace.
Food
Food resources are used to fulfill the Food need. Lords take them for free from Warehouses while peasants must purchase it from a Market or the Holy Caravan.
- Rutabaga is obtained from Rutabaga Fields. It is eaten last and gives a Mood penalty that slowly decreases
- Flour is refined from Rye in Mills. It is eaten second.
- Meat is obtained from Pig Farms. It is eaten first and gives a Mood bonus that slowly decreases.
Alcohol
Alcohol resources are used to fulfill the Rest need but frequent consumption can cause addiction. They are produced in a Brewery. Lords take them for free from Warehouses while peasants must purchase it from a Tavern. There are three alcohol resources:
- Moonshine is refined from Rutabaga and gives Mood penalty that slowly decreases
- Beer is refined from Hops and Rye, requires knowledge before it can be produced
- Flavorful Ale is refined from Hops and Herb, requires knowledge before it can be produced and gives Mood bonus that slowly decreases
Weapons
Weapon resources can be given to warriors when creating an army.
- Daggers can always be carried, can be used as a backup weapon if the primary weapon is broken, and can be sold to peasants at a Market. It is refined from Wood in a Workshop.
- Mace can cause loss of consciousness regardless of pain threshold. It is refined from Coal and Iron in a Weapon Forge.
- Spear is not very durable and is less effective against armored opponents. It is refined from Coal and Iron in a Weapon Forge.
- Sword allows for effective parrying of attacks, providing additional protection. It is refined from Coal and Steel in a Weapon Forge.
- Axe destroys the opponent's armor and shield and is twice weaker than the sword if both opponents don't wear armor and twice more powerful if both opponents are fully protected. It is refined from Coal and Steel in a Weapon Forge.
