Birthplace of humanity, Earth has played a pivotal role in establishing self sustaining colonies in the Sol system. Shockwaves were sent in 2128 by the creation of an Europian proxy colony, Titan, showing that Earth was no longer needed for expansion in the system. After the discovery of Ti-82 Earth found itself lagging behind the outer colonies. With a rising population and a lack of resources Earth put controls in place in the form of sanctions to ensure its survival. During the First Colonial War of 2238 Earth was the creator and first signatory of the Inner System Defense treaty.
