Disrupting effects

Mechanics

Disrupting effects prevent the targets from moving as they intend for a certain amount of time.

A creature can be inflicted with multiple disrupting effects at the same time but only the most recently inflicted effect will be displayed.

Some creatures can inflict disrupting effects on themselves as demerit or getaway. Immunity is ignored.

Stun

An affected creature can only stand idly. It has a swirl above its head.

Users

Confusion

An affected creature will wander aimlessly. It has a question mark above its head.

Users

Fleeing

An affected creature will run away from combat. It has an exclamation mark above its head.

Users

Paralysis

An affected creature can't move at all.

Users

Immunity

Large and huge creatures are unaffected by stun, confusion and fleeing. Nothing is immune to paralysis.

Immune targets

Special cases

Adult bombardier beetles are immune to stun, but not confusion and fleeing.

Huge emperor scorpions, super leafcutter ant major and the male scientist can stun any creatures, regardless of immunity.
