Funnel-web spiders (Segestria florentina) are underground enemies in woodland documentary levels.

Abilities

Funnel-web spiders set up tubular lairs in underground crevices. The entrance is covered with web and scattered with meat chunks. Contacting enemies move 50% more slowly. Lairs disappear when the hosts are dead.

Funnel-web spiders can capture small enemies and execute them one at a time. They home in on the first enemies that touch the web, even if they have already moved away. The subsequent targets are randomized among the remaining enemies.
