Environment

Surface enemies can be set to be appropriate to the environment. Woodland enemies are grouped with beach enemies in this case because woodland maps don't actually exist in the game.

Circadian rhythm

Surface enemies are mostly cathemeral. Diurnal enemies and nocturnal enemies can be set to follow circadian rhythm. Existing enemies will leave and approriate enemies will appear through spawners when daylight changes.

Underground caverns

If cavern randomization is disabled, underground enemies are generated based on the default map designs. You can only encounter African stink ants, large beach tiger beetles, woodworms, woodlice and nymph earwigs underground in this setting.

If cavern randomization is enabled, underground enemies are generated based on your choices. Only specific enemies are available.
