A Woodcutting Post at maximum production produces 189 tons of wood per day (30 Workers * 6.3t wood) and a sawmill at maximum production consumes 180t wood per workday, so each sawmill should have its own dedicated woodcutting post. At maximum production, a sawmill will consume 180t wood to make 140t boards per day; a ratio of 9 : 7. Boards are an important Construction material.
