The Dunes

Description: A small secluded area in some sand dunes that offers wide open space with a few raised areas.

Environment: Beach

Music: Rising Tide Theme


Settings

You have access to a limited number of fish, seeds and sand fleas. You can find large rosemary plants and poppy plants across the map.

Woodlice, devil's coach horse beetles and beach tiger beetles live in your nest.

Towhead

Description: A river island that offers the best resources in the middle but can periodically flood, wiping out resources and creatures alike.

Environment: Beach

Description: A sandy peninsula designed for a 3 vs 1 setup, where the single colony has an uphill battle ahead of them.

A single nest is located on the further side of the peninsula. Ally colonies are located next to each other. Enemy colonies will be separated by an indestructible barrier if they are located next to each other.

You have access to a limited but massive number of fish, seeds and sand fleas. You can find poppy plants and magnolia saplings across the map.

Devil's coach horse beetles live in your nest.

Description: A swampy area that floods and drains opening up easir access to other resources and colonies.

Environment: Swamp

Settings

Nests are disconnected by a water trench during flood period. Connecting paths, which are gradually revealed during drain period, are blocked by carnivorous plants.

You have access to a limited number of seeds and pine cones. You can find magnolia saplings across the map.

Narrow-mouthed toads, larval false bombardier beetles and larval checkered beetles live in your nest. You can encounter 2 great blue skimmers flying across the map.

Description: Tightly packed nests around central resurces in the swamp ensures intense skirmishes with neighbors.

Environment: Swamp

Nests can be located either on the first or the second layer of the hill.

You have access to a limited number of seeds and pine cones. Lots of milkweed plants grow densely in the central area. You can find magnolia saplings and Venus flytraps in the outer area.

False bombardier beetles and larval checkered beetles live in your nest. You can encounter 2 American bullfrogs in the outer area.
