Nest invasion
Some enemies are unable to invade your nest. They include woodworms, woodlice, nymph earwigs, medium hermit crabs and large African mantises.
Circadian rhythm
Surface enemies are mostly cathemeral. Diurnal enemies and nocturnal enemies can be set to follow circadian rhythm. Existing enemies will leave and approriate enemies will appear through spawners when daylight changes.

Underground caverns
If cavern randomization is disabled, underground enemies are generated based on the default map designs. You can only encounter large beach tiger beetles, woodworms and woodlice underground in this setting.
