Settlements are built up by viceroys from a couple of starting buildings to survive long enough to satisfy The Queen. Settlements are where you make your decisions about what buildings to build and how to satisfy the needs of your villagers.

Each settlement is a short mission that lasts from Embarking through Winning or losing.
