The MZ-504 is a work horse, one of the few that come close to the carrying capacity of the excellent SKD 706, but it has much better speed, thus for those nations that invested in highways this may the choices as the open hull truck.
The MZ-504 is one of the few open hulls in the first 10 years that can challenge the SKD 706 for the place of being the primary hauling truck. This is because the MZ-504 has a decent carrying capacity of 10t of Steel and so on. So while being 3 tonnes less than the SKD 706 is the speed of the truck that gives the 'Skoda' a run for its money. The MZ-504 can travel at speeds of 88km/h (doesn't time travel though), this means that it is 28km/h faster that the SKD 706. Therefore if a nation has asphalt roads to customs houses the MZ-504 will outperform a SKD.
The MZ-504 is based on the real life MAZ-504. A Soviet workhorse for about a decade.
In game the MZ-504 might be the open hull you want to build in your nation yourself, it has around 500 workdays meaning that a fully staffed Vehicle Production Line can produce one every day and a bit, given its speed and carry weight it is excellent all rounder.
There is also the covered version which is just as excellent and can really put in a shift for your nation.
To build it requires 7.4t of Steel, 0.98t of Mech Com, 0.14 of Elec Com, 0.32t of Plastic and 0.005t of Fabric.
