Trabi 601

From Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic Official Wiki

The Trabi 601 is a personal car based on the real world Trabant 601 from VEB Sachsenring. The real life Trabant is perhaps one of the most famous Eastern Bloc cars in the world, being highly sought after even today. They had a long production run from 1963 to 1990, with 2.8million being produced by VEB.

In the game the Trabi 601 is already 'discovered' and is available for purchase and manufacture from 1950-1991 making it one of the oldest models by the end of the game.

It has a max speed of 80km/h and runs well on asphalt roads, although later open hulls such as the MZ-504 will overtake it.

The Trabant is extremely cheap at only ₽1,688 at 1970. Perfect if you wish to provide your people with imported personal cars.

They are fairly cheap to make, taking only 45 work days and 0.61 of Steel, 0.12t of Mech Com, 0.014t of Fabric, 0.015 of Elec Com and 0.024t of plastic. They could quickly give your car sellers cars to give to the public, but for an export market they are not effective or worthwhile.
