Bosses
At the end of each land there will be a boss fight, where Thorald will fight the boss alone. Each boss fight has three phases, progressing to the next phase once the boss loses a third of its health.
Valgard
Phase 1: Valgard will begin the phase with a whirlwind attack. After the attack he will be exhausted for a few moments, leaving him defenseless. Afterwards he alternates between two light or one heavy attack. More rarely he will use a lunge attack. If enough time passes he will repeat the whirlwind attack. All his attacks can be blocked.
Phase 2: Valgard will begin the phase with another whirlwind attack, unless he did it shortly before the previous phase ended. He will also have a new attack where he throws his axe at you. This attack cannot be blocked.
Phase 3: Valgard will replace the whirlwind attack with one where he retreats to one of the sides and throws three barrels at you.
Bishop Elmold
Phase 1: Bishop Elmold will begin the phase with a flail spinning attack. Afterwards he alternates between two light or two medium attacks. If there is enough distance between him and Thorald he will use the flail spinning attack again. All his attacks can be blocked.
Phase 2: Bishop Elmold will pick up a bench and will attack with it three times before it breaks. He loses the light and spinning attacks and gains a new heavy attack that will leave him vulnerable for a few moments. If enough time passes he will pick up a second bench and repeat the starting attack. All his attacks can be blocked but will consume more Stamina.
Phase 3: Bishop Elmold's aide will occasionally cause one of the three chandeliers on the map to fall. A red circle will appear where they will fall. He will always drop the left one first, then the middle one, then the right one. Bishop Elmold gains a new charge attack he will use if there is enough distance. After all chandeliers fell Bishop Elmold also gains a rug pulling attack he will use if there is enough distance. This attack cannot be blocked.
