When starting a new campaign you will first have to pick your game difficulty. The difficulty can be changed at any point in the options menu. Sons of Valhalla offers the following difficulty levels:

You are a pretty inexperienced warrior, and you're always trying to avoid confrontation. Your combat skills are limited. You don't like urban development either, as you prefer to let others build houses. You're hoping that the gods will have mercy on you during your journey. Just believe that as long as you honor Odin, he will protect you! |
