Funnel-web spiders (Segestria florentina) are underground enemies in black ant missions.

Abilities

Funnel-web spiders set up tubular lairs in underground crevices. Lairs will disappear when the hosts are dead. The entrance is covered with web and scattered with meat chunks to slow enemies down.

Funnel-web spiders will capture small enemies and instantly kill them one at a time. The first enemy to touch the web will be homed on in, even if it has already moved away. The subsequent targets are randomized among the remaining enemies.
