Abilities

Whip spiders use basic attack by biting. They prioritize using their pedipalpi to lunge at faraway enemies, however.

Small whip spiders don't use basic attack.

Large and huge whip spiders can move backward or sideways to effectively bring enemies into their range.

Huge whip spiders can thrash around and make enemies bleed. They can stun and knock enemies back.

Uber whip spiders retain the abilities of huge whip spiders. They don't reposition themselves during battle.

Trivia

  • Whip spiders wear fezzes in arachnophobia mode.
  • In real life, whip spiders usually fight for mating right by circling and probing each other with their pedipalps. This unique animation can be seen only in Front Line when whip spiders confront each other on the surface.
