Phorid flies will attempt to lay eggs inside nearby leafcutter ants. Infected ants can only move and attack very slowly. They become dead after 2 minutes without losing any health. Phorid flies can only infect leafcutter ants.
Leafcutter ants have 0% chance to fend off phorid flies when they are carrying leaves and 30% chance when they don't. Level 3 mediae and majors have 100% chance to fend off phorid flies, even if they are carrying leaves.
