Command the fire ants to form floating pontoons to reach valuable resources, defend from the explosive bombardier beetles and grow large enough to escape your fate.

Settings

In this mission, a fire ant colony must get to the bountiful land across the water. Your nest is located on the largest island.

The level starts at night.

Milkweed seeds frequently land on the map and disappear after 90 seconds.

Flood period lasts for 3 minutes. Drain period lasts for 2 minutes. The 3 small islands and the promised land can only be reached during flood period.

You only have access to vigorous soldiers. You can't upgrade any ants to level 3.

Notable enemies

Enemies are on the same side.

Green rove beetles, blue rove beetles and woodworms live in your nest. They also appear on the surface of the large island and the 3 small islands during flood period.

Bombardier beetles appear on the 3 medium islands during flood period, increasing in number over time. They invade your nest during drain period. On later days, they may fight among themselves to keep their own number in check.

Trivia

• During the victory cutscene, the fire ant queen crosses the bridge to reach the promised land.

• There is a dead bass at the bottom of the river. Liam decided to put it in after some viewers suggested it as a joke.
