As the name suggests, Fire Station is used by firefighters. So far, there is only a single variant for fire stations in Vanilla game, and they can only house four fire trucks. There are player-made modifications available on Steam Workshop that offer several additional fire stations in various sizes. Amount of firefighters in every station depends on the vehicles. Some require more personnel, while others don’t.

While fire stations are not cheap buildings, they are a necessity in every region that contains either industry or population centers.
