The Wburg 353 is the first personal car based on the real life car company Wartburg. It normally is available in 1965 and is the first personal car to be 'discovered'.

There are two versions of the Wburg 353, the 353 and the 1.3. The 1.3 is also a real car being the Wartburg 1.3 however the game does make a mistake saying that this car is also available from 1965-1988 when in real life the 1.3 was developed in 1988 and went out of production in 1991 with the of DDR.

The Wburg 353 has almost identical stats to the Trabi 601 being able to travel at 95km/h. Perfect for asphalt roads. The Wburg, however, is more expensive than the Trabi in both cost and manufacturing, however therefore is worth more if the player is making themselves.

The Wburg is probably the best car to manufacture early game as it is quick, cheap and cost effective to mass produce for an export market. A single production line at full capacity can produce 6 a day which by 1970 is giving the player around 16,000 Roubles a day in export.
