During free time, or leisure, the citizens are trying to fullfill there needs or preferences. There are four groups of leisure activities:

  • Visiting a church
  • Doing Sport
  • Drinking in a Pub
  • Going for Culture

All these leisure activities have some impact on happiness and other statistics (Statistics like: Health, Religion, Loyalty, Alcohol addiction, Sport, and Culture). These leisure activities can be positive if the need is satisfied or negative if the need is not satisfied. Everything is percentage based and you may be aware that you can get up to 100% for each statistic if satisfied constantly. If the citizen is not able to enjoy the leisure activity he is looking for, then he loses a small percentage of statistic connected with that leisure activity. Each of these leisure activities provide some happiness if satisfied but may have different impact on other statistics.

Worth mentioning:

  • If citizens are provided with leisure activities sport, pub and culture, none of the leisure activities will become too strong over time.
  • Every activity may have some advantages and disadvantages, e.g. alcohol has a negative impact on health but provides a significant happiness boost and sport has a positive impact on health but provides less happiness boost.
