Project Exodus
Back to Factions.
Faction Ideology
Project Exodus plans to escape their impending doom by sending humans to colonize other stars.
The motto of Project Exodus is:
It has always been true that we must leave the cradle if our species is to survive. If these aliens are indeed hostile, the time to go is now.
Faction Leader
The leader of Project Exodus is Khalid Al-Ashgar. In 2008, he earned a Masters of Physics and Philosophy from Oxford University. He is the lead investor in Al Zaabi Satellite Communications. From 2017 to 2019, he served as Deputy Director of Administration for the Emirates Mars Mission. He is noted to be a financial supporter of several space enthusiast organizations and publications.
Interaction with Other Factions
Factions with Similar Ideology
Project exodus is unique in its ideology among the factions, and stands opposed to all others in its desire to entirely avoid dealing with the aliens by simply, in concept at least, leaving. As such, they can most easily reach out to Undecided humans, especially those who would just prefer not to have their lives upended by aliens.
Factions with Opposite Ideology
Project Exodus tends to find itself at odds most directly with The Initiative, a faction that shares some common ground with Project Exodus in their general apathy towards the aliens. Sadly, their goals are fundamentally opposed: Where The Initiative want only to line their own pockets, Project Exodus believes its actions are for the betterment of all mankind.
