Story Events can can only take place once after the required conditions are met.

The following events will take place within the first two weeks, in no particular order.

One Humanity? will grant all nations 1 Cohesion.
Select Management Team will give each faction a choice between 4 permanent bonuses to monthly income: +3 Influence, +15 Research, +3 Ops, +10 Money.
U.N. Security Council Meets will give each faction a choice between remaining in shadows, quietly steering support (small Public Opinion boost everywhere, costs 25 Influence and reveals the faction to other factions) and delivering their menifesto (moderate Public Opinion boost everywhere, costs 50 Influenceand reveals the faction to other factions).

Random Events can take place at any point.
