Approval is a game mechanic that indicates how happy the population is. Its symbol is the thumbs-up sign. It can be raised by meeting the needs of burgage plots, such as having a well-stocked marketplace area with plenty of resources that they require, especially Food and Clothing. It is penalized by at least homelessness, and likely some other factors.
