The woodcutter's lodge is a gathering building used to collect Firewood by cutting down trees in the region.

Use

When placed the woodcutter's lodge will require 1 Timber to be constructed. Once fully built, up to 3 families can be assigned to work in it.

Mechanics

An area can be designated in which the families work. Using ctrl and scroll wheel, the area can be adjusted.

Family members will go to the area, cut down a tree and then cut log pieces from it. After that they will transport it by hand to the Woodcutter's lodge where they will split it into smaller pieces making firewood and drop it into the generic storage of the building. The assigned family will require a market stall space to distribute the firewood.

Trees will be removed from the area when they are cut down. They generally do not grow back on their own. To plant more trees, the use of a forester's hut is required.
