Carnivorous plants are obstacles in swamp documentary levels.

Abilities

Omnivorous ants will automatically climb carnivorous plants as if they have found food and get eliminated instantly. You can disable food gathering to protect your ants.

Venus flytraps (Dionaea muscipula) and dwarf sundews (Drosera brevifolia) don't give food. Each leaf can only kill one ant at a time.

Yellow pitcher plants (Sarracenia flava) secrete nectar and give up to 55 food. They generate 20 food 90 seconds after each harvest. Refill only happens when the current food amount is between 0 and 36. Ants have low chance to successfully harvest nectar.

• None of the scientific names is mentioned in the game or any promotional materials.

• Yellow pitcher plants are usually 50 to 100 centimeters tall in real life so they are scaled down to fit the screen. Climbing creatures also become smaller when they reach the top.
