Mission Difficulty
This page shows mechanics about difficulty settings and achievements in story mode and arcade mode.
Difficulty
Levels can be played on either easy, medium, hard, extreme or impossible. Few levels only have a single set difficulty. Medium is the recommended choice for first-time playing.
Some elements in a level may change on high difficulty.
- Resources are less abundant.
- Objectives are more difficult to complete.
- Enemies appear in larger number. Larger variants and adults become more common and appear sooner.
- Preparing periods and intervals of attacking waves is shorter.
- Titans are have higher size and health.
- Enemy colonies are more aggressive, have greater maximum population and cheat more frequently.
Enemies have halved health and give doubled food amount on easy. Unique enemies may appear in some levels only on impossible.
You can't save in the middle of any levels.
Achievements
You can earn achievements by completing extra objectives before beating the respective level on the designated or higher difficulty. Only story levels and holiday levels have achievements.
Achievements don't affect rewards or story progression. You can't earn achievements when you are in new game plus.
You can enable achievement tracking to know if you meet or fail any requirements during a level.
