Seasons
From Against the Storm Official Wiki
Overview
There are 3 Seasons, and each is unique in terms of Farming tasks, Forest Mysteries, and Rainwater Collection. A passage of 3 seasons marks a year. Depending on the Difficulty you start a settlement at, a typical in-game year lasts 10 or 12 minutes.
The three Seasons are:
- Drizzle Season
- Clearance Season
- Storm Season
Seasons
Drizzle
- Duration: 4:00
- Positive Forest Mysteries are active.
- Cornerstones are earned at the start of this season for the first 10 years of a settlement.
Unique Tasks
- Planting takes place on the Small Farm, Plantation, Herb Garden, and Homestead. Farm Field Double Yield chances are calculated during planting.
Drizzle Water is collected in Rainwater Collectors.
Clearance
- Duration: 4:00
- None of the Forest Mysteries are active.
Unique Tasks
- Harvesting takes place on the Small Farm, Plantation, Herb Garden, and Homestead.
Clearance Water is collected in Rainwater Collectors.
Storm
- Duration before Prestige 2: 2:00. Duration at Prestige 2 and higher: 4:00
- Negative Forest Mysteries are active.
- Seal Plagues are active.
- Blightrot Cysts activate and spread Corruption.
- Traders will not arrive.
Unique Tasks
- Plowing takes place on the Small Farm, Plantation, Herb Garden, and Homestead. Plowed Farm Fields receive 10% extra chance for Double Yields.
Storm Water is collected in Rainwater Collectors.
